About Unfurling Tide
Care that meets you where you are.
Unfurling Tide is a craniosacral therapy and bodywork practice for children, teens, and adults. The name reflects the natural rhythms of bodies and lives: times of movement, gathering, change, rest, and return.
This is a space for slowing down. A space to notice what is present. A space to be met with care.
Meet Kate.
I’m Kate, BA, CLC, ICST-C, and the practitioner behind Unfurling Tide.
My work is grounded in gentle touch, careful listening, and respect for each person’s own experience. I believe care should be collaborative, unhurried, and shaped around the needs and boundaries of the person in front of me.
I work with children, teens, and adults because every life stage asks something different of the body. Whether you are seeking support for your child, navigating adolescence alongside your teen, or making space for yourself, you are welcome here.
My approach
I approach each session with curiosity rather than assumption. There is no single “right” experience of bodywork or craniosacral therapy, and there is no need to perform wellness in this space.
Together, we create an experience that feels clear, comfortable, and responsive. Consent, choice, and communication are central to the work.
Training + credentials
I have a BA in Art History and worked in art education for more than years.
In early 2021 I became a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC).
In 2024 I completed training with Beams CST and became a Certified Infant Craniosacral Therapist (ICST-C).
As a part of my certifications, I complete 6+ hours of continuing education every year, and recertify every three years.
I practice lactation care for families, and provide bodywork for babies through my private practice Full Milk Moon. Unfurling Tide is my sister practice to Full Milk Moon, extending my offerings past the prenatal and peripartum period, embracing the full spectrum of life–birth through adulthood.
